1. Introduction
Equity Watch Pro ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Equity Watch Pro mobile application and associated Expert Advisor software (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following information to provide and improve the Service:
Account information:
- Email address — used to create and manage your account. Account authentication is handled securely by a third-party authentication provider. We do not store or have access to your password.
Trading account data (sent by the Expert Advisor you install in MetaTrader 4 or 5):
- Account equity, balance, floating P&L, and realised P&L
- Snapshots of equity, balance and floating P&L taken every 5 minutes, used to show how an account developed over time
- Open and closed trade details (symbol, direction, volume, profit, swap, commission, prices, timestamps)
- Account login number, broker name, trade server name and account type (LIVE or DEMO)
- Account currency and leverage
- Margin level and Floating DD (open loss as a percentage of equity)
- Account nickname and alert levels you configure in the EA
- A coded account identifier, calculated in the EA from the login number and server with a one-way function, so accounts can be told apart without needing the login number itself
Device and notification data:
- Device push notification token — used to deliver Floating DD alerts to your device
- Your Connection key — a secret generated for your account that lets your Expert Advisors send data to it. Anyone holding it could send data to your dashboard, so keep it private; you can replace it in the app at any time.
- Broker server timezone offset — used to calculate correct daily trading boundaries
We do not collect your real name, physical address, phone number, payment details, or any information beyond what is listed above.
3. Your Control Over Data
You have full control over what trading data the Expert Advisor transmits to our Service. The EA includes granular privacy settings that allow you to disable sharing of specific data fields, including:
- Account login number
- Broker and trade server name
- Account balance
- Margin level
- Trade ticket numbers
- Open, current, stop loss and take profit prices
- Swap and commission values
- Trade comments
Any data field you choose to disable is never transmitted to our servers. It is replaced with an anonymous value or omitted entirely at the EA level, before any data leaves your terminal.
4. One-Way Data Flow
Equity Watch Pro operates on a strictly one-way data flow. Data travels only from your MetaTrader terminal to the app — never in the opposite direction.
The Service cannot connect to, access, control, or interact with your MetaTrader terminal in any way. We cannot execute trades, modify orders, change settings, or perform any action on your trading account. The Expert Advisor only sends data outward — it does not receive instructions from our servers.
Your trading terminal remains entirely under your control at all times.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to:
- Provide the real-time trading dashboard functionality of the Service
- Deliver push notifications for Floating DD alerts (Premium tier only)
- Authenticate your identity and secure your account
- Calculate and display trading performance statistics
- Diagnose technical issues and improve the Service
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the operation of the Service.
6. No Use of Trading Data for Financial Gain
We will never use, analyse, copy, share, or otherwise exploit your trading data or trading strategies for our own financial benefit or the financial benefit of any third party.
Your trading strategies, positions, and account activity are your own intellectual property. We have no interest in how you trade and will not use your data to inform any trading, investment, or business decisions of our own.
Trading data is stored solely for the purpose of displaying it to you through the Service and is never shared with, sold to, or accessible by any other party.
7. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure in the asia-southeast1 region (Singapore). Each user's data is isolated under a unique user ID path and is inaccessible to other users.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication, database, cloud functions, and push notifications. Firebase's privacy policy is available at firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- MQL5 Marketplace — payment processing for the Premium Expert Advisor. MQL5's privacy policy applies to all purchases made through their marketplace.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties.
9. Data Retention
The latest account snapshot is kept while your account is active. Daily history, 5-minute equity snapshots and closed trade history are kept for 365 days and then deleted automatically.
You can delete a single trading account, or your whole Equity Watch Pro account with all associated data, at any time in the app (account menu). Deletion in the app takes effect immediately. If you no longer have the app, see equitywatchpro.com/delete-account.
10. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent to data processing at any time by discontinuing use of the Service

11. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
